Career highlights: COO, Champion Auto Group. General Manager: BMW; Chevrolet; Chrysler; Dodge; Ford; Genesis; Honda; Hyundai; Infiniti; Jeep; Kia; Lexus; Mazda; Nissan; Ram; and Toyota. He established his reputation as “the turnaround General Manager” with AutoNation where he turned around two ”mega stores,” a BMW dealership, and a Toyota dealership within a five-year period. He assembled a multistate dealership group across Indiana, Missouri, and Colorado in less than two years. Coming out of the 2008 Recession, he turned around a Honda dealership, doubled its annual revenues and its market share, and achieved record-high profits. He overcame COVID constraints and outmoded, undersized, and scattered facilities, to increase a Honda dealership’s annual operating income by more than 10 times. He built out “open point” Hyundai and Genesis dealerships and achieved immediate profits and high rankings on OEM KPIs.
