T. J. Anthony

T. J. Anthony is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of American Automotive Capital Partners (AACAP) and the lead executive for its automotive division, LTA Auto Group. A veteran of corporate platform building and capital markets, he specializes in structuring businesses within industries undergoing transformative change.

His professional background is marked by a unique blend of legal, financial, and operational expertise. Before entering the automotive sector, Anthony was a partner at the prestigious Wall Street law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. For over 20 years, he has focused on building scalable business platforms with a heavy emphasis on information management and financial architecture.

Beyond the boardroom, Anthony served more than five years in the U.S. Army as an armor officer and commander of a global intelligence-gathering and engineering activity.
At LTA Auto Group, he applies a disciplined acquisition model to identify high-value dealerships. His leadership is defined by the ‘Blueprint for Modern Retailing,’ which leverages data and integrated technology to turn regional dealerships into high-performance market leaders.

Anthony holds a distinguished academic record, having graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He earned a graduate degree in Economics as a University Fellow at Yale University and received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from The University of Chicago.
